Renovation of an 1,100 s.f. existing building and design of a new 1,600 s.f. addition to expand an existing transitional housing facility.

Design Challenges & Solutions
- Completed design required substantial integration of existing and new structure, style and details, including a complete gut /rehab and new addition to existing housing facility with a limited project budget.
- Install new building sanitary sewer system to connect to existing municipal system under Route 7.
- The steeply sloped site required care in storm water management through the use of swales and foundation drainage.
